There have been a LOT of changes in the Butter household since my last post, big changes – hugantomongous changes to be precise. No there are no new babies on the way, planned, arrived or otherwise and there willn’t be any time in the long foreseeable future. (Willn’t doesn’t show up in the dictionary but I’m pretty sure it’s a word. At least it is now and it seems like a perfectly logical word as well. A simple conjunction of “will” and “not”. Logical right? So there you have it, when it ends up in Websters you’ll know where it was birthed.)
Today I’m putting it out into the ether-world, change is good and even when it doesn’t seem good, it ends up good. Another thing that’s good, organization. Yes organization. It’s your friend, embrace it, Love it.
If you haven’t noticed, I haven’t posted in a long time, since Christmas Eve actually and then it was only a few times during the last couple of months. Granted I’ve been overworking myself, then the holidays came up and….
Whatever, the fact is, I was so unplanned for my blog posts I simply wasn’t getting them done. PERIOD!
Here are more facts,
Fact, clutter causes stress.
Fact, mess causes stress.
Fact, being without a plan causes stress, as well as clutter and mess, and for those see previous facts.
This is not to say, winging it isn’t a bad thing. In fact, sometimes it’s kinda fun. When it comes to blogging however, it’s stressful when you haven’t planned at least a little.
(are saying “fact” and “in fact” the same thing?)
Lately I’ve started cleaning, decluttering, planning and organizing just about everything. My desk, email, closets, computer files, filing cabinet, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, work, daily schedules for home and work and yes now even blogging.
While feeding my Pinterest addiction some time ago, I came across some cute blog post planners and realized I could definitely use that. I wasn’t too crazy about all of them and decided, “what the heck, I’ll make my own”. So I did and being the super nice person I am, I’m sharing them with you.
I created the same planner in both landscape and portrait modes to suit your fancy. Click on each, save to your desktop. Then open each one and print into PDF format (easy on Apple products and newer PC’s. If you don’t have a newer PC you can download a free PDF printer drive here http://www.dopdf.com/.
Hope you enjoy them. Now get planning and more organization tips and tricks will come. I am going to go admire my newly organized bedroom closet with a big ole’ grin of content plastered on my face.
PS: These were really fun to make, if you have any other planners or ideas that would help you get organized, email or leave a comment.
