Easy to make whether your camping in your kitchen or outdoors over a fire. Will bring those rowdy ruffians running.

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. Chicken parts, any kind
  • ½ C. Dijon mustard
  • ½ C. Honey
  • 1 Tsp. Pepper
  • ½ Tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Tabasco sauce (optional)
  • 2 Tsp. Paprika
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 6-8 slices Bacon
  • ¾ C. Monterey Jack cheese
  • ¾ C. Cheddar cheese
  • 3 Tbs. Butter
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a flat bottomed bowl combine dijon, honey, pepper, salt, tabasco & paprika; mix well.
  3. Add chicken to honey Dijon and let sit for no less than 30 minutes. The longer the better.
  4. In a large oven proof skillet, melt butter and add chicken. Brown on all sides until nearly cooked, about 10 minutes.
  5. Add onions to the pan.
  6. Lay or wrap each piece of chicken with bacon strips and drizzle some of the marinade over the whole thing.
  7. Top with cheese and bake in oven for 20 minutes until cooked through but cheese not burned.
  8. Note: you may need to adjust cooking time depending on the size and thickness of your chicken parts.
