Scotch Mist With Lemon Shortbread

A slight twist on a traditional Scottish dessert.

Serves: 4-6
  • 1½ cups Double cream or heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons Good Scotch whiskey
  • 1 cup Shortbread cookies, largely broken
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 3 cups Strawberries or raspberries, chopped
  1. In a large mixer, whip the cream, sugar and whiskey until firm.
  2. Fold in fruit and shortbread.
  3. Spoon additional fruit in the bottom of a serving glass (optional).
  4. Add Scotch Mist mixture.
  5. Chill at least 30 minutes.
